Hondo ISD is a 3A school district serving approximately 1800 students in Medina and Frio counties. The district has 4 campuses: Hondo High School, McDowell Middle School, Woolls Intermediate School, and Meyer Elementary School.
Please take note of Meyer’s updated bell schedule and morning drop-off procedures for the 2025–2026 school year on the flyers below. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping arrival safe and on time!
We are excited to celebrate our wonderful grandparents on Friday, September 5th!
Grandparents are invited to join their student(s) for lunch during their grade-level lunch schedule (see attached flyer for times).
Please be sure to fill out the Google Form (https://forms.gle/DRVQjkMJFHCY2CnTA) for each student attending. There is a limit of 4 grandparents per student to help with seating and safety. If you do not complete the form and are not listed, you will not be able to attend. Please do not bring any other students from other campuses or any additional children.
We can’t wait to see our Meyer families come together for this special day!
Meyer Elementary will have Individual Picture Day on Tuesday, August 26th. We can’t wait to see all of our students’ bright smiles!
Please do not send money on Picture Day. About 10 days later, you will receive a proof of your child’s picture along with purchase options and pricing.
Now that we're back in the swing of things, remember to please call in all transportation changes by 2:30 pm. This gives us time to get the message to students before they switch classes or go to rotation.
Also, the early sign-out cut off time is 3 P.M.
Thank you for helping us keep afternoons safe and running smoothly!
