Hello Parents and Guardians!
Happy February! This month is a wonderful time to continue supporting your child’s learning at home. Small, everyday activities can make a big impact on their growth and confidence! Here are some simple ways to engage your child in learning this month:
📖 Read Every Day – Spend time reading together, ask questions about the story, and encourage them to retell what they heard. Let them see you enjoying books, too!
🔢 Build Math Skills – Practice counting objects, recognizing numbers in everyday life (like on signs or grocery items), and playing simple math games with toys or snacks.
💌 Encourage Writing – Have your child write notes or draw pictures for loved ones, practice their name, or create Valentine’s Day cards to build fine motor and literacy skills.
🗣 Talk & Listen – Ask open-ended questions about their day, encourage storytelling, and play rhyming or word games to strengthen language development. Your support at home makes a huge difference in your child’s success.
