Hondo ISD is a 3A school district serving approximately 1800 students in Medina and Frio counties. The district has 4 campuses: Hondo High School, McDowell Middle School, Woolls Intermediate School, and Meyer Elementary School.
We’re excited to introduce a new program through the ESC-20 HOPES grant — Parents as Teachers! This free home visiting program is for families with children ages 0–5 living in Medina County. It focuses on supporting your child’s development through fun, age-appropriate activities, while also connecting families with helpful resources. Check out the flyer for more info!
If you haven’t turned in your pre-registration/student placement form, please make sure to do so! This form is for currently enrolled Hondo ISD students and is due by this Friday, April 25th. Thanks for helping us prepare for an amazing new school year!
Hondo ISD will be closed on Friday, April 18th & Monday, April 21st for the Easter holiday! School will hop back into session on Tuesday, April 22nd. We hope you have an egg-stra special, fun-filled break!
